OUR STAFF
Cindy
Freeding, the owner and certified instructor
of Pilates Movement For Life, was a professional
dancer with The Benny Smith Dancers in San
Francisco, CA. She studied tap, jazz and ballet
since the age of 5. In college, she majored
in business and minored in dance. At 27, her
dance career ended with a knee injury. She
then focused on a legal career. After sustaining
injuries in several auto accidents, Cindy
found her way to Pilates for rehab. It was
so effective, she attended The Boulder Pilates
Center Teacher Training Program and became
a certified instructor, thus opening her studio
in Olde Town Arvada, Colorado.
Stephanie
Zak is a native of Colorado and has
been instructing Pilates since 2004. She received
her certification from The Pilates Center
in Boulder. Stephanie is also an accomplished
dance instructor at Dance Arts Studio in Broomfield.
She is currently in her second season as a
company member of the David Taylor Dance Theater
and received much of her dance training from
the Academy of Colorado Ballet and the Denver
School of the Arts. She is a graduate of the
University of Arizona with a B.F.A. in dance.
Gina de Soto Always an avid athlete,
Gina competitively participated in running,
rowing, swimming, and dancing. As a result
of her Pilates training, she realizes how
important this technique is in keeping her
injury free and enhancing her mind and body
connection. Gina has a B.S. in Communications/Photojournalism and received her certification from The Pilates Center in Boulder.
She first began taking Pilates classes during
her college education at Loyola University,
New Orleans. Gina is thrilled to be teaching
others the Pilates Method and exploring its
numerous benefits to the human body.
The staff are all members of The Pilates Method
Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to
establishing licensing standards for accredited
Pilates instructors. Annual license renewal requires
that all instructors complete 14 credits of continued
education.
